La Leche League helped me a ton when Joey was born & we had a crazy breast infection. We got the support at our group that helped me to keep pumping until he was 18 months old. I had many people assist with proper breastfeeding positions & pumping help throughout the process. We were told by our doctor that some people were just not meant to breastfeed but this group helped me to realize that it was the best thing for us.

LLL means a warm inviting group of women to share my parenting journey. They understood what I needed to make breastfeeding work with my son when we were really struggling. Now that my son is 15 months old I am still getting help from LLL, but I am able to give help as well now and that is a wonderful feeling helping other moms achieve their breastfeeding goals.
